The Village Candy Shoppe is nestled in the Village of Manlius, New York, which is just outside of Syracuse, New York. The shop is in its second year of business and is owned by Kathy Chappini. She and her husband and daughter, moved back to the area after living in Maine for seven years. In Maine, Kathy worked part time in a friend’s candy shop and found she loved being in the shop and working with the customers and the candy. Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and her friend as her mentor, having a business of her own went from a dream to reality.

The shop is known for its fine chocolates and truffles and the old-fashioned candies from yesteryear. Customers enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and quiet elegance of the shop. It has become a destination for many who long for the memories of their childhoods. It is also the place to visit for the perfect gift for a relative, friend, business associate or for any occasion.
